The lab tested our samples for compliance with ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) standard F-1292-09. This standard’s title is “Standard Specification for Impact Attenuation of Surfacing Materials Within the Use Zone of Playground Equipment.” In other words shock absorbing capabilities. We are pleased to announce that our playground mulch passed this rigorous test with flying colors.
